Conveyancers invited to nominate local authority Local Land Charges teams in national Awards for Excellence

Land DataLand Data has opened its 2021 Local Land Charges Awards for Excellence and is asking conveyancers to nominate and provide feedback on the local authority Local Land Charges team that has delivered a consistently high level of customer service throughout the coronavirus pandemic.  Quality, reliability, and efficiency should be considered when deciding which local authority who to nominate.

Recent figures from the National Land Information Service (NLIS) confirm that, despite the challenges of working remotely and the significant increase in the demand for conveyancing searches, 70% of local authorities are returning searches to customers well within the Government target of 10 days.

The Customer Satisfaction Award for Local Authority Searches is sponsored by the Coal Authority.  Andrew Simpson Senior Business Account Lead for the Coal Authority said: “We are delighted to support the category of Customer Satisfaction for the third year running. At the Coal Authority we feel passionately that every customer should feel valued and engaged with, in the best way possible for them. Providing a great and consistent level of customer experience is what we all aspire to provide. It is such an important part of building trust and loyalty and involves multiple parts of every organisation including price, processes, efficiency, and service levels. It’s not only about how you connect with your customers, but also the level of trust that they place in you.”
