CEL Solicitors unveils new brand to reflect people-first approach to law

Liverpool-based consumer law firm CEL Solicitors has today unveiled a bold new brand identity — to reflect its commitment to delivering legal support with care, compassion and clarity.

The rebrand reflects CEL’s growth from a one-woman housing disrepair firm into one of the UK’s leading consumer law specialists, now focused on fraud and scam recovery, crypto tracing, professional negligence, personal injury, housing disrepair and more.

Developed in partnership with research and creative agencies based in Manchester, the new brand includes a refreshed visual identity, a more empathetic tone of voice, and a completely redesigned website. The work is rooted in extensive qualitative and quantitative research with CEL’s clients and communities.

Jessica Hampson, CEO and founder, said: “This rebrand is not just about changing how we look. It’s about staying true to who we are. We’re on a mission to become the UK’s most trusted law firm for people who feel they’ve been wronged and don’t know where to turn.

“We’ve always put people first. The new brand reflects that. It’s clear, open, and honest.”

New campaign launches in August

To bring the rebrand to life, CEL Solicitors will launch a new national campaign this month under the message ‘JUST tell CEL’. The campaign will run across social media, online video, radio and TV, raising awareness of the legal support available to people who may not realise they have a valid claim.

Using real people and real scenarios, the campaign aims to make legal support feel more approachable and relatable. “We know that taking the first step is often the hardest,” added Mrs Hampson. “This campaign is our way of saying: we’re here, we understand, and we’ll help guide you through it.”

Making the law more accessible

CEL Solicitors has helped thousands of people fight back against injustice. Since expanding into fraud and scam recovery, the firm has recovered over £135 million for clients affected by investment fraud, cryptocurrency scams, employment scams and romance fraud.

To reach even more people, the firm has launched a fully rebuilt website designed to make legal support more accessible and easier to understand. CEL’s research found that 85% of people are unaware when they are eligible to make a claim, often because of complex legal language or a lack of awareness around their rights.

The new website and communications are designed to remove those barriers, using everyday language, real people and a compassionate tone throughout.

Built on trust, driven by purpose

With more than 10,000 reviews and an Excellent rating on Trustpilot, CEL Solicitors has built a reputation for trusted, transparent and client-focused legal services.

The firm’s specialist crypto investigations team now works with authorities and trading platforms to trace and recover stolen digital assets. Alongside this, CEL continues to represent clients in professional negligence, personal injury and housing disrepair claims.

“We don’t see clients as cases. We see them as people, and we know how stressful and isolating it can feel when something goes wrong,” said Mrs Hampson. “Whether you’ve been scammed, injured, let down by a professional or living in poor housing, we’re here to support you from day one.

“Our promise remains the same: Just tell CEL. We’ll listen, we’ll understand and we’ll do our very best to help.”
