Specialist maritime and insurance law firm Bentleys Stokes & Lowless has become the latest UK firm to select Peppermint’s Cloud solution.

The London-based firm has a long history advising clients on maritime and insurance law. Partner William Chetwood comments that the ability to respond fast and to operate across time zones with a 24 x 7 service are of ever- increasing importance to the firm’s clients and therefore to the firm itself.

“We’ve made a positive decision to go with a cloud solution,” Chetwood says. “Peppermint’s cloud platform has a number of important advantages.  It allows us to concentrate on what we do best, solving legal problems, and leave Peppermint to deal with what they know best delivering software applications

“At the same time, we get the very latest CRM, accounting, document management, matter management, sophisticated reporting, time capture and billing – everything we need to support clients and manage the business.

“We particularly like the fact that Peppermint’s software has been written expressly to integrate with the Microsoft products that we already use such as Outlook and that all information is in a single database.

“The bottom line with Peppermint is that we can spend more time working directly with clients, and we can be more productive in our use of that time.  That means better service for clients,” Chetwood said.

Peppermint CEO & founder, Arlene Adams commented, “We are delighted to have Bentleys join the Peppermint community.  We now have 37 UK law firms who have selected Peppermint, and over two-thirds of these have opted for a Peppermint Cloud deployment.

“Cloud delivers enterprise-class technology at a much lower total-cost-of-ownership than is possible with on-premise – Cloud is just better tech, and better value for money.”
