Ascent creates new role to enhance customer service

New client services director, Michael Bond

Ascent Performance Group, the UK’s leading debt services provider and part of Irwin Mitchell [2], has appointed Michael Bond into its newly created role as client services director.

Michael Bond has over 25 years’ experience in financial services, with eight years already spent at Ascent in both senior operational and information technology roles. Prior to joining Ascent, Michael enjoyed a senior role within Santander.

In his new position, Michael is responsible for ensuring continuous improvements are delivered for its clients’ customer base which includes Santander, Lloyds Banking Group, Royal Bank of Scotland and HSBC, amongst other clients.

Ascent, with 180 staff, has recently expanded its field services operations with the recruitment of 39 field representatives into the firm to enhance its presence in the unsecured marketplace. Established in 2009, Ascent has grown on average 50% per annum with 2013/14 revenues exceeding £10m.
