ARAG conquer Snowdon

ARAGARAG UK strengthened its commitment to raising money for vital charitable foundations in the past month as its ATE Sales team reached the summit of Mount Snowdon in North Wales.

The team have so far raised nearly £2,000 for AvMA (Actions Against Medical Incidents), who aim to support people affected by avoidable harm in healthcare; to help them achieve justice; and to promote better patient safety for all.

Snowdon, which sits at an elevation of over 1000 meters, proved a big challenge to the team, who scaled the mountain on Saturday 17 June.

ARAG’s ATE Sales Manager, Mike Knight, said: “Our recent walk up Yr Wyddfa or as we know it Snowdon was a rewarding and enjoyable experience for the ATE Sales team and our families. We were lucky that with an early start, it was a cool enough even though we were in the middle of a heatwave, so we were able to press on and enjoy the views as we went up.

“I must admit for a few of us the ascent was challenging but even more so the descent, my knees still ache now!  It’s great that we could all enjoy a day walking and bonding as a team whilst raising a great amount of money for AvMA, an excellent charity close to all our hearts as we see firsthand the good that they do every day.
