Christos Kottis joins the legal practice as Head of Marketing

Leading legal practice Aaron & Partners LLP has strengthened its marketing team with the appointment of Christos Kottis as its new Head of Marketing.

A Chartered Marketer since 2003, Christos joins the firm, which has offices in Chester, Shrewsbury and Manchester, with over 20 years’ experience in marketing and business development across a range of B2B sectors.

Most recently Christos, whose areas of expertise include renewable energy, industrial (MRO) distribution and publishing, has worked as a management consultant and trainer, supporting businesses with their growth strategy and management skills training. He also speaks fluent French, Greek and English.

Small claims 2013 v 2018: What has changed?

Successive governments have considered increasing the small claims limit for personal injury claims, at the behest of the insurance industry lobby, from £1,000 to £5,000. But the lower limit remains unchanged because, so far, evidence and reasoning have prevailed. The last time the government tried to implement an increase was in 2013 when it concluded that it would keep the issue under consideration for implementation “when appropriate”. Nothing has happened to suppose a small claims limit of £5,000 is any more “appropriate” in 2018 than it was in 2013.
