Following a second record-breaking year raising over £1 million for frontline free legal advice charities, the London Legal Walk returns on the 9 June, bringing the legal community together once again to support access to justice across London and the South East.
With just 8 weeks to go until the London Legal Walk marks its 22nd year, 830 teams and 4,500 walkers have already signed up to step out in support of advice agencies helping people facing homelessness, debt, domestic abuse, immigration issues, and other life-changing legal problems.
Since its beginning in 2005 with just 330 walkers, the London Legal Walk has grown into the largest fundraising event in the legal calendar, raising £12.5 million to date. Thousands of people now take part each year, united by a shared commitment to ensuring everyone can access legal advice when they need it most.

This year’s event will once again feature a 10km walk with three route options through some of central London’s most iconic and scenic areas, including the popular Parks and River Routes. Two shorter alternative routes are available for those who want to participate but require a shorter route as an adjustment.
There will be a lively post-walk street party, featuring street food, a range of vendors, and entertainment, to celebrate the collective effort of everyone who took part.
Whether you’re a law student, solicitor, judge, or simply passionate about justice – there’s still time to join this year’s Walk and make a difference. Walk solo or rally a team from your firm, chambers, university, or organisation.
