DG Legal: Court of Protection – Sex, relationships and the Court of Protection
11th October 2021 at 1:00 pm - Online
The Court of Protection often has to grapple with the most intimate aspects of a person’s private and family life. Sometimes the focus is on whether P has the capacity to make decisions about sex or personal relationships. Sometimes its whether a proposed course of action would break the criminal law. Finding the right outcome can be a difficult process and require sensitivity and humanity, as well as intellectual clarity.
Ben McCormack and Helen Curtis of Garden Court North Chambers both have significant experience of working in cases where these issues arise, and this free 1 hour webinar will give an update as to the current state of the law and practice.
