- a deeper understanding of your clients and your work using concepts from the world of psychology and neuroscience
- a range of therapeutic techniques for working with all manner of clients, including those who are neurodivergent and/or those with vulnerabilities including mental health disorders and addiction;
- the tools to work in a trauma-informed and psychologically aware way; and
- an understanding of the approaches for dealing with anger and resistance.

About the presenter
Annmarie Carvalho is a renowned and multi-award winning therapist, trainer and public speaker. Before retraining to become a therapist, she was a family solicitor and mediator at Central London law firm Farrer & Co for over a decade.
