Leading personal injury law firm Fentons Solicitors LLP has replaced its practice management software with Proclaim from Legal Futures Associate Eclipse to help manage rapid growth.

The firm, which is based in Manchester and London, will initially roll out Proclaim personal injury system to 200 staff members, along with Proclaim Accounts, to form a fully integrated practice management solution.

In addition, Fentons will use Eclipse’s FileView online case tracking tool to provide clients with round-the-clock access to live case progression data. As part of the process, Eclipse will convert the data from Fentons’ existing software system.

Martin Loftus, a partner in charge of IT development at Fentons, said: “To really push Fentons forward in the extremely competitive PI arena, we felt that our core case management processes needed to be as efficient as possible.  Fentons focuses on client care and communication, and after analysis of the market’s leading vendors it was clear that Eclipse offered not only the best current solution, but that the firm’s future plans and ambitions were perfectly aligned with the Fentons ethos of growth and service excellence.”

The security of certainty

What are our considerations when looking to buy home or car cover? I would imagine price would certainly be amongst the considerations, but I’m confident that we would each weigh up whether or not our chosen insurer could meet any claims we might bring, and perhaps as importantly, whether they’d provide us with a hassle-free claims process were the worst to happen. Legal expenses insurance should be no different.
