I have not found my code, the ICAEWs, any less demanding than any other. Some lawyers overplay their own importance and place their own role at the centre and slightly above everyone else's, rather than being one part of the picture, no more or less important than anyone else. Most of us would do absolutely everything to protect our client and maintain the principles and tenets of being a professional. Other professionals also have ethical codes to which we have to adhere.
