[1]Converge Technology Specialists [1] (Converge TS), the country’s only dedicated cloud computing provider for law firms, has secured another new client adding Greater Manchester and Lancashire law firm Woodcocks Haworth and Nuttall [2] to its growing client list.
Converge TS will provide the 200-year old firm, which employs over 100 people across seven offices, with a new operating system and fully-managed hosted desktop (cloud) service, after winning a competitive tender against two other technology providers.
The new technology will help support the continued growth of Woodcocks Haworth and Nuttall’s corporate and commercial departments. The hosted cloud will enable the firm to update operations, move to digital records and filing, and provide it with greater security and efficiency when handling client work.
Woodcocks Haworth and Nuttall finance director Mike Gillibrand explains: “The decision is client led. In a modern, flexible world the right IT can make a huge difference in how law firms deliver legal services.
“More of our solicitors are working offsite, on the move with clients, and our cloud based software will give them the tools to bring greater efficiencies into the way they advise clients, accessing important documents as and when they need them.

The process in how we store and recover documents will now be quicker and more secure, bringing greater operational efficiencies,” he concludes.
