Tikit’s new template management software (TMS v6) is shortlisted for The KnowList’s prestigious Technology Innovation Award

Tikit [1]’s TMSv6 software has been shortlisted for The KnowList Technology Innovation Award.

The KnowList Awards acknowledges the contribution of professionals, vendors and law firms to the advancement of legal technology. It celebrates organisations that have either developed innovative technology solutions as saleable products or have implemented new technology within their firm/business that they consider to be innovative by design or implementation.

The latest version of Tikit’s Template Management System (TMS v6) was released in October 2013 – a complete re-design of the previous award-winning version. Tim Springham  CEO, Tikit commented, “We are extremely proud to be shortlisted for this award and view this as recognition of the commitment and dedication of the Tikit team to continuously improve the usability and functionality of our software to make life easier and more productive for law firms”.

Template Management has traditionally been about helping firms manage multiple templates across multiple languages, in multiple offices. Tikit have a good reputation for this, with plenty of firms in the top 100 using their software, including 6 in the top 20. Mark Garnish, Development Director, Tikit added “One of the difficulties with template deployment in general is that most firms want so much from their standard templates, including integration with document management systems, CRM system and even PMS systems. When they want to provide several options to users they will usually need to get developers involved to provide the functionality required– often at great expense”.

Tikit have addressed this issue with their “no code” approach to template development in TMS v6. They claim to have reduced deployment times of template solutions by in excess of 75%.
