A part_ofTikit, one of the world’s largest, and most established providers of technology solutions and services to legal and professional service firms, today announced the expansion of its technology partnership with HighQ, a provider of innovative enterprise cloud collaboration and content management software.

As a preferred partner in the UK and Europe since 2013, Tikit previously joined forces with HighQ in delivering compelling highly secure collaboration technology to improve firm/client relationships and enhance productivity.

The new partnership extends the relationship to include Tikit North America and Tikit Australia and in addition to HighQ Collaborate, includes HighQ Publisher, its enterprise content management and client engagement and digital marketing platform. HighQ Publisher revolutionises content management and allows firms to transform their thought leadership, knowledge and expertise into tailored and engaging content across multiple channels for internal or external audiences.

The move to expand the partnership between the two companies was accelerated by the successful working relationship to date including the development of Tikit’s HighQ iManage Worksite connector providing seamless integration between the popular document management system and HighQ Collaborate.

Peter Zver, president, Tikit North America, said: “This is Tikit‘s first North American-wide partnership and I am excited by the synergy and combined value we are bringing to our mutual clients and the legal market at large.

“HighQ Publisher is a natural fit and provides the ‘pull’ marketing element to Tikit’s industry leading ‘push’ e-mail marketing. With HighQ Publisher integrated with Tikit’s E-mail marketing, firms will be well equipped to extend and enhance their digital experience with their clients and positively impact their service delivery levels.”

Ajay Patel, CEO and Co-Founder of HighQ, said: “Tikit is a global IT and technology leader with unparalleled domain expertise within the legal and professional services space. As such, HighQ and our clients greatly benefit from our partnership and are delighted by the prospect of service and technology expansion.”

Tikit’s HighQ iManage Worksite connector is already used by many firms worldwide with the integration between Tikit’s eMarketing & HighQ Publisher scheduled for later in 2016.

The skills shortage in law firms is the biggest threat to handling cybercrime

CLC Roundtable discussion at Malmaison Hotel, Charterhouse Square

The skills shortage in our businesses is the biggest threat to our industry when looking at cybercrime. Cybercriminals are not just after money but are looking for sensitive information too, so the legal services sector is an obvious target. In the last year we have had reports of around £7m of client money being lost to such crime. This is not an IT issue and it should not be left to the IT teams to sort out. It is a high-level responsibility and a board-level issue that must be taken seriously. We suspect that we will look back on 2016 and ask why we didn’t respond quicker.
