LegalEyeThe ESTAS Group which highlights the best firms for customer service involved in the home moving process has revealed its first shortlist for their inaugural Conveyancer Awards.  The results are based purely on feedback data from customers who were asked a series of questions about the service they received during the home moving process. Over 5,000 customers completed a survey rating their conveyancer.

As a result firms across the UK have been shortlisted regionally and nationally. Individual members of staff have also been shortlisted in the People Awards category based on nominations from customers.  The winners will be announced at the first ESTAS Conveyancer Awards sponsored by SearchFlow which will be held at the prestigious Grosvenor House Hotel in Mayfair London on Friday 20th October.  The awards are backed by Legal Eye along with the Conveyancing Association and The Society of Licensed Conveyancers.  Paul Saunders, Managing Director at Legal eye said “As legal compliance and best practice specialists, combined with a 7 year history of working with some of the largest conveyancers in the sector, we are delighted to be supporting The ESTAS. Best practice and customer service go hand in hand which is why we are particularly pleased to be involved in the inaugural ESTAS Conveyancer Awards.”

The ceremony will be presented by TV property expert and ESTAS Brand Ambassador Phil Spencer.  Spencer, who has hosted The ESTAS Estate Agent Awards since their inception back in 2003 said “We live in a world where customer reviews are becoming increasingly important in the consumer decision making process so The ESTAS provides a kite mark for excellent service for any property professional involved in the house moving process.”

Simon Brown, founder of The ESTAS says “We want to highlight conveyancing firms who are providing exceptional levels of customer care through the moving process. We believe the best way to judge that is to ask the clients who have experienced the whole service through to completion.  Any firm who entered has already sent a clear message that they are passionate about customer service so to make it on to the shortlist is a huge achievement in itself.”

The awards will take place in the spectacular ballroom at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane in London providing the perfect backdrop for firms to celebrate and network with the top conveyancing firms in the UK.  To see the Official Shortlist and book tickets for the awards on Friday 20th October go to http://conveyancer.theestas.com/

Building a strong business case for IT investment

Nigel Wright
