Search Acumen [2], the search provider, has appointed Caroline Robinson as its new commercial real estate business development manager as it lays the foundations to expand into the commercial property market.
Having spent ten years working closely with the UK’s leading commercial property law firms, Caroline’s in-depth knowledge and experience will drive Search Acumen’s plans to develop a new ‘intelligent’ search offer to help commercial conveyancers with their due diligence.
Caroline’s most recent position was senior account manager at Argyll – part of the Landmark Information Group – where she continued to support many of the top 100 commercial law firms including Berwin Leighton Paisner, Trowers & Hamlin and Clifford Chance.
She was also responsible for identifying and designing products and services to enhance working processes in commercial real estate: most recently through the Argyll Site Solutions Highways report.
Caroline’s appointment will kick-start a period of consultation with industry to inform a ‘step-change’ in commercial conveyancing searches. Search Acumen’s IntelliSearch approach has already put it on track to secure a 5% share of the residential market in its first two years of business, by combining innovative use of technology with an intimate understanding of conveyancing practices.
