Saunderson House is the only wealth manager to be associated with the FT Innovative Lawyer awards

Saunderson House [2] announces that it will sponsor the Legal Innovator of the Year category of the Financial Times Innovative Lawyers Ranking and Awards, Europe 2014.

The FT Innovative Lawyers, now in its ninth year, is a joint venture between the Financial Times and RGS Consulting, a specialist legal research company.  The report, which is one of the top legal rankings in Europe, and the accompanying FT Innovative Lawyers Awards are widely regarded as the best researched in the market.  The intensive research process includes in-depth interviews with referees, expert commentators and market research surveys.  In 2013, the research team conducted more than 650 in-depth interviews to reach the final rankings.

Saunderson House is the only wealth manager to be associated with the awards and will stand alongside some strong returning sponsors of the awards. Ian McNally, Director at Saunderson House, will sit on the judging panel this year.

Beverly Landais, Marketing and Business Development Director of Saunderson House commented: “This research is unique in the legal market as it seeks to recognise market leaders in the industry by measuring and rewarding uniqueness and value delivered to clients – rather than more conventional metrics such as size, revenue and profit.  This resonates with Saunderson House’s own focus on creating and delivering value to clients.”

Robert Grange, Global Director of B2B Advertising at the Financial Times added: “We are delighted to confirm that Saunderson House will be sponsoring the Legal Innovator of the Year award. The report will feature the top 10 individual who emerge from the research as genuine innovators on either a technical or an operational basis. It will highlight individuals who devised the most original ideas, developed the most brilliant solutions and who have taken the boldest steps to change how legal work is done or driven industry-wide innovation.”

Reena Sengupta, CEO of RSG Consulting commented: “We’re delighted to have Saunderson House sponsor the Legal Innovator of the Year category in this year’s FT Innovative Lawyers Report. The Individuals section is one of the most fascinating parts of the report as it draws together the stands of all our research for the project into 10 individual stories. To feature in this section is an acknowledgement of extraordinary lawyering or achievement in the sector.”

This year’s Innovative Lawyers Awards will be held at The Natural History Museum 8th October, with the report published in the Financial Times and FT.COM [3] on the 9th October.
