[1]Saunderson House [2]is delighted to announce that Action for Children [3] has become its official charity partner for 2015 – 2016. Employees of Saunderson House voted for the charity from a strong shortlist nominated by staff and will donate their time and raise funds throughout the two-year period of the partnership.
Action for Children works in the heart of local communities across the UK, providing help and support to the young and vulnerable as they grow up. One in every 10 children across the UK is suffering from neglect, that’s one child in every street across the country suffering in this way.
Saunderson House will support fundraising activities by giving staff paid time for volunteering, allowing the use of the firm’s facilities and providing some core funding. Efforts to support the charity will be focused through the firm’s Make a Difference committee which is made up of a cross section of members of staff and is chaired by Christopher Sexton, investment director, Saunderson House [4].
Christopher, who also chairs the charity’s Investment Sub-Group and is a member of its finance committee, commented: “Action for Children provides invaluable services for disadvantaged children across the UK including 13 active projects in Greater London. The charity focuses on helping the most neglected children and we sincerely hope our support will make a real difference to their ability to provide even more services and help more families.”
