Redbrick Solutions has become the first supplier of legal case management software to integrate with Springboard.net.

Springboard.net is an online, business networking portal which facilitates collaboration between solicitors, estate agents and IFAs.  It’s free to use and members of Springboard.net connect with other companies to control and manage leads, refer work and track cases in a secure, efficient environment which is open for business 24 hours a day.

Users of Redbrick Practice Management now receive notification when a new Springboard matter is allocated to them.  Then, with just a couple of clicks, they can automatically import all client and case details into Redbrick Practice Management.  It’s fast and efficient, thereby improving service to the customer and increasing profitability for the law firm.

Springboard.net provides its members with a business portal page which can be customised to include company logos and branding.  It offers the benefits of bypassing traditional costly Panel Managers, together with a range of tools to help solicitors deliver a more streamlined and profitable conveyancing process.

“Redbrick Solutions and Springboard.net agree that technology can provide competitive advantage in a changing and challenging legal landscape” says Dan Hodges from Springboard.net “By linking together Redbrick Practice Management and Springboard.net, we offer firms a very powerful tool to attract new business, retain margins and operate more efficiently and effectively”.

Redbrick Solutions is one of the UK’s leading, expert suppliers of law firm software.  Its customisable products operate as standalone solutions or as a fully integrated front and back office system.  Thanks to its best in class products and service led ethos, Redbrick Solutions is the only software supplier to be both Lexcel compliant and to have been selected by the Society of Licensed Conveyancers as the preferred supplier to its members.

Managing Director, Martin Macduff said “We are delighted to have integrated Redbrick Practice Management with Springboard.net.  The integration saves any double keying and enables solicitors to work smarter, running their business in a more compliant and efficient manner”.

The rise of the multi-disciplinary lawyer: A challenge for legal education

Catrina Denvir

The legal profession has been on the receiving end of much hype regarding the impact of technology. Recent commentators purport that the aspiring lawyer must be a triple threat, possessing knowledge of the law, coding expertise, and in-depth knowledge of legal technology. Yet, focusing on legal technology risks overlooking the need for skills that transcend latest fads. Legal technology is a means by which to handle data: to organise it, record it, extract it, analyse it, predict from it and leverage it. Quantitative and statistical literacy – the ability to understand, apply, visualise and infer from data – underpins technological literacy and yet receives very little attention from those who encourage innovation in the legal curriculum.
