Redbrick Solutions have announced a new service designed to further streamline the conveyancing process and deliver a more cost effective transaction for the lawyer, with the launch of Redbrick Searches.

This latest offering from the conveyancing case management experts enables fee earners and support staff to order searches from within the case management system, with the property details pre-filled.  This saves the user time in needing to open a different window, log in and re-type the property details.

Martin MacDuff, Redbrick Solutions Managing Director comments “Research amongst our conveyancing client base indicated to us that 97% of our clients would find a fully integrated search solution of huge benefit to their firm.  With thousands of purchase transactions going through Redbrick Practice Management every month, the potential time saving to clients is significant.”

Redbrick Searches will automatically remember the users favourite searches and enable them to re-order these with just a click of the mouse.  Furthermore, the system will intelligently suggest additional searches required, depending on the property address, for example, if a Mining, Flood or HS2 search could be required.

Searches can be managed from within the case management system and results attached back to the file.  A full audit trail is provided for compliance purposes and the home mover, estate agent or referrer can monitor progress via the online tracking service.  All of this is backed by £2m insurance per search.

Martin concludes “Clients using Redbrick Practice Management will already benefit from numerous integrated services such as AML checks, Land Registry form completion and automatic SDLT submission.  We are delighted to be able to further assist our clients in delivering a best in class service to the home mover by adding Redbrick Searches to our portfolio.

We are able offer very competitive prices, a quick turnaround time, excellent customer service and a high level of choice and flexibility to all clients with the added benefit of everything being managed through one user interface.”

Caroline Wallace LSB

The publication of the Legal Services Board’s vision for legislative reform of legal services regulation on 12 September has generated a healthy level of interest and debate. This can, on the surface, seem a somewhat dry subject. However, it has an impact not just on existing regulated practitioners, but also on providers of legal services more generally, as well as everyone who uses or benefits from an effective legal sector. And, let’s face it, that’s all of us.
