Redbrick200Leading conveyancing case management provider, Redbrick Solutions, have this week announced their partnership with conveyancing business development specialists, Brighter Law Solutions (BLS).

BLS’ management information system helps firms analyse data to identify opportunities to better leverage resources across the firm, answering critical questions such as ‘Do we need more staff to handle volume?’ and ‘Who has the best conversion rate?’.

Their Business Champions offer valuable  business development advice and services, such as securing relationships with estate agents, analysing figures to help the firm raise their fees without losing quality or clients and even following up quotes to help increase conversions.

Redbrick Solutions offer expert, innovative conveyancing case management solutions to assist firms in improving efficiency and profitability across all matters.

Their legal case management software has intelligent workflows, matter wizards, exceptional document management and all of the third party links required by the modern law firm.

They are unique in that they do not charge for training, upgrades, maintenance or support.  This ensures the firm is fully future proofed and always has access to the latest in technology.

The new partnership will, for the first time, offer conveyancers a fully integrated solution whereby quotes received via the law firms website will automatically populate the case management system with all of the client and fee information, follow up will be carried out automatically to help increase conversion rates and searches will be ordered from, and returned into, the case management system.

The next phase of development, due out later this year will see the data from those searches being used to automatically populate the Report on Title/Contract.  This, combined with the invaluable expertise of the Brighter Law Business Champions, will create unrivalled competitive advantage for the law firm.

Redbrick Solutions’ managing director, Martin MacDuff comments “Redbrick Solutions have a long history of being the first to market with innovative new technology and services and I am delighted to be working with Brighter Law to deliver a complete conveyancing service to our clients.

“The huge benefits in time saving achieved by this integrated solution means that firms will automatically be able to handle about 20% more work, without increasing their overheads, which fits in perfectly with our ethos of driving increased efficiency and profitability across the firm.

“Brighter Law are perfectly placed to help the firm secure that additional work and to support the firms future growth.”

Paul Clarke, commercial director at BLS adds “Brighter Law Solutions take pride in delivering powerful technology and people to champion conveyancers. I’m delighted that we’re going to be working with Redbrick Solutions, who like us share a burning desire to innovate, and offer something genuinely new and exciting to the market.”

Rating lawyers by their wins and losses – a good idea?

Robert Ambrogi

Lawyers will give you any number of reasons why their win-loss rates in court are not accurate reflections of their legal skills. Yet a growing number of companies are evaluating lawyers by this standard – compiling and analysing lawyers’ litigation track records to help consumers and businesses make more-informed hiring decisions. The shortcomings of evaluating lawyers by win rates are many. Not least of them is that so few cases ever make it to a win or loss. Of equal concern is that, in the nuances of law practice, it is not always obvious what constitutes a win or a loss.
