PSG No1On Monday 11 January PSG launched their new web site and ordering platform.

Two weeks on and the feedback from clients has been fantastic. Stephen Murray, business development director at PSG spoke of the reactions of customers to the new platform: “The real test of a successful product launch is the feedback you get from your existing customers and we have been absolutely delighted by the reception.

“After 12 months hard work it means so much to the IT and development team here to get such positive comments. Plus it has already opened some new doors to our offices.”

Jane Davison from Quality Solicitors Jordans in Doncaster said: “I must congratulate PSG on the ease of use of the new connect service. The site is very clear even to first time users.

“It is very user friendly and as a firm none of the staff have encountered any difficulties. In the search section all the searches are clearly explained and there is a facility to add in favourites which speeds the request up even more with one click. An excellent service well done.”

Amanda Shaw Solicitors in Horsham took part in the pre-launch trials of the system and commented “Having been selected to trial the new PSG Platform we were very pleased with the ease of use, pointers for additional searches required and the mapping facility.

“Our firm has used PSG for years and always find their service prompt and their staff extremely helpful.”

Leonie Rowe, legal assistant at GA Solicitors in Plymouth explained: “The new platform not only looks nicer, but also is simpler and more structured to use”

“PSG’s new online ordering service is fabulous.” Added Cheryl Leaning, chartered legal executive at James Legal in Hull, “It is quick, intuitive and virtually infallible. It’s as if it knows what I want before I’ve finished typing a postcode. My clients demand a high level of service. I know I can rely on PSG to help me deliver that.

Over 1000 firms every month trust PSG’s people and technology to deliver a first class service. The new platform has been written using cutting edge open source technology and is hosted with an industry leading Cloud provider, giving a scalable, secure and stable environment.

Adele Sagar, operations director at PSG added: “Our heritage is in search and we ensure our technology compliments and supports the personal service we are famous for.

“We’ve kept the user experience at the heart of all our thinking and are really pleased with the outcome, I’d like to thank all the clients who have worked with us during the testing phase, their input and feedback has been crucial.”

Going social

Derek Fitzpatrick Clio

Legal professionals, as communicators, serve a crucial role in social conversations, but have not been quick to adopt a strong presence on social media. Many lawyers are reluctant to start a social media profile as they don’t foresee any benefits to having one. The bottom line is that lawyers won’t get clients from social media if they are not using it. With 62% of adults having a Facebook account, your clients – and competitors – are using social media and you can no longer afford to treat it as an afterthought in the digital age.
