Pannone co-founder joins Zebra’s technical advisory team

In line with Zebra [2]’s growth, Pannone Co-Founder, John Kitchingman, joins Zebra’s technical advisory team.

John was a co-founder of leading law firm Pannone (now part of Slater & Gordon).  As one of the UKs leading injury lawyers, and a former Pannone equity partner, John brings a wealth of skill, knowledge, market intelligence and law firm management experience.

In 2000, John lead in the landmark Court of Appeal case involving conjoined Twins “Mary” and “Jodie” born in Manchester to Maltese parents. This resulted in a number of broadcast news media appearances including Newsnight and Good Morning America.  A genuine leading legal eagle, John joins Zebra Legal Consulting (Zebra LC) at a time of major growth at the specialist technical due diligence firm.

Zebra began trading from 1st December 2012, with the core of its business proposition being born out of the new era of legal services.  With 17 months, Zebra is nationally recognised as a trusted advisor to law firms and key stakeholders such as banks, insurers and funders.

The business was initially launched with a personal injury sector focus, but in the last 8 months due diligence has covered all areas of legal service, including crime, commercial property, serious fraud, family, probate etc.  The business has evolved from WIP valuation to reports that assess and benchmark technical capability and operational risk. Zebra’s offering is now a full due diligence service. Clients span from law firms £500,000 turnover to AIM Listed PLCs such as Fairpoint Group PLC. This resulted in the launch of Zebra’s Major Projects Team in December 2013.

Zebra has been dedicated to helping legal practices and key legal stakeholders (such as banks and new entrant investors) embrace the changing legal landscape. Zebra’s approach is to help law firms adapt, and evolve to remain competitive, profitable and risk aware and give essential ‘visibility’ to new entrant investors and banks.

A true modern legal hub, the business has grown by way of a network of highly acclaimed specialist auditors, costs experts, risk & compliance specialists, lawyers and barristers, who are the lifeblood of Zebra’s technical auditors of WIP value and operational risk.
