The company which started life as Environmental Consultancy Stirrat Park Hogg in 1990, began its Scottish property search business in 1992 and launched into England in 2002.
“Since then we have grown and now lead the way as the real-time ‘property data experts’,” explains Ronnie Park, managing director, OneSearch Direct and founding executive member of CoPSO, the Council of Property Search Organisations.
“For more than twelve years we have sourced and aggregated all available council CON29 data in England & Wales, which makes our company completely unique. Despite a few set-backs over the years, like the building fire which almost wiped out our business in 2004, we are still here and more importantly, growing.”
Heather Nash, production and ancillaries manager, who has recently been recognised for 20 years’ service at OneSearch Direct’s Glasgow head office, comments:

Park continues: “Most recently, we have expanded our dataset into new industries, providing traffic, mapping and environmental data to a growing list of industry giants such as The Ordnance Survey and Landmark Information Group. We have more than 30 people permanently employed to ensure information is updated on a daily basis and making our vast and accurate database of local authority information accessible to different markets and this is now a key part of our business. Since start-up, there is no denying there have been both ups and downs but we are all very excited about the future and are looking forward to addressing the needs of our clients for at least another quarter of a century!”
