NatWest launches national legal roadshow with mmadigital
mmadigital, the online marketing agency for law firms, is again teaming up with NatWest Commercial Banking, to host the bank’s fifth legal sector conference, across five UK locations.
The NatWest Legal Sector Conference, in association with mmadigital, will examine how law firms can:
- exploit new channels to market
- improve profitability and partner performance
- deliver business strategy via alternative funding structures.
The conference panel of experienced speakers will offer practical advice to help law firm leaders navigate the current trading environment and include: Colum Smith, CEO, McMillan Williams Solicitors; Peter Scott, a former managing partner at Eversheds; Dez Derry, CEO, mmadigital; and Stephen Gold, founder of Gold’s Solicitors (now Irwin Mitchell).
Steve Arundale, head of professionals at NatWest, says: “Over the past five years this conference has grown in influence and during that period the trading environment for legal businesses has never been as good as it is right now.
“With many firms experiencing improved financial performance, we will examine how firms should now look forward and employ the current period of stability to secure a positive future. We’re naturally delighted to be working with mmadigital again.”
The conference will be delivered across the country at the following locations:
- Edinburgh (in association with Royal Bank of Scotland):
Monday 5 October at RBS Gogarburn, Conference Centre, Edinburgh, EH12 9BS
Wednesday 7 October at Double Tree by Hilton, Granary Wharf, 2 Wharf Approach, Leeds, LS1 4BR
Thursday 8 October at Hilton Coventry, Canterbury Suite (M6-J2), Paradise Way, CV2 2ST
Wednesday 14 October at The Lowry Hotel, 50 Dearmans Place, Chapel Wharf, Manchester, M3 5LH
Tuesday 20 October at RBS, 280 Bishopsgate, London, EC2M 4RB

The conference follows the hugely successful NatWest mmadigital ‘From Click to Client’ conference which took place in London in June, attracting almost 200 delegates.
Dez Derry, CEO, mmadigital says: “We have developed a good working relationship with NatWest aimed at improving the fortunes of law firms. The range of speakers on the panel means that law firm leaders will come away with a real holistic view of law firm management.”
