mmadigital adds trio of clients as legal sector strategy gathers pace

In response to a five-fold increase in business from law firms during the past year, Manchester’s online marketing agency for law firms, mmadigital [1], is re-focusing its business solely on providing web design, video and, lead generation campaigns for law firms across all sectors both in the UK and internationally. The business now works with over 70 law firms.

Since launching three years ago, the agency has built a client base amongst retailers, small businesses and personal injury law firms looking for new routes to market following the ban last year on referral fees. However, the business is starting to win work with law firms from across all disciplines and will now focus solely on the legal sector.

Dez Derry, CEO of mmadigital, says: “Over the past year we have started to see an increase in business from law firms across all disciplines and have now worked with in excess of 70 firms. Our work comes from a mixture of retained clients, returning clients and new business all driven by the realisation of the potential online marketing can have in opening up new markets and winning clients. Our aim is to become the UK’s number one online marketing agency for law firms.”

The new focus has already yielded a number of new clients, and a shortlisting for the Associated Industries Team of the Year 2014 at the Claims Innovation Awards 2014 [2]. The ceremony takes place on 21 May 2014.

New clients include, 360 Legal Group, Hayward Baker and Scott Rees.

Adrienne Halladay, business consultant, with 360 Legal Group [3], which helps law firms across the UK manage and market their practices as businesses, appointed the agency to film its recent annual conference and awards. She says: “I have found working with mmadigital to be a very easy process. We are able to see where the project is at any given moment in time and also add our thoughts during the design process so the finished project matches exactly what we required.”

Trevor Baker, director of law firm Hayward Baker [4], appointed mmadigital to create a new website, he says: “Soon after instructing mmadigital it became clear their excellent reputation was well earned. They helped us develop an imaginative and engaging new website that immediately bore results in generating new business. mmadigital brought a level of expertise to the process that we could never have achieved on our own. We will continue to work with them going forward and hopefully in the long term!”

Chris Parlour, marketing administrator at law firm Scott Rees [5], brought mmadigital in to look at the firm’s online presence, he says: “mmadigital are assisting us with our plans to expand our online influence and have offered us great advice and assistance. We have found them very approachable and the work they have produced for us has been both professional and of the highest standard.”
