Legal tech expert to head up sales & marketing at Peppermint
Peppermint Technology today announced the appointment of Kaye Sycamore as Chief Sales & Marketing Officer. With over 25 years in legal tech, Sycamore brings significant expertise and experience to Peppermint and its customers.
Prior to joining Peppermint, Sycamore was with Intapp for 6 years as Vice President with responsibility for EMEA & APAC, and in this role delivered impressive business growth in the outside-US regions in terms of both new customers & revenue.
Sycamore joined Intapp from Thomson Reuters Elite where she achieved similar success, first opening up the Asia-Pacific region for Elite based in Sydney, and then transferring to the UK in 2005 to lead its international business from London.
“I am thrilled to have Kaye join Peppermint as Chief Sales & Marketing Officer. Kaye is one of the best sales leaders I have encountered in my career, and she is a renowned marketing and business development expert.
“Her vast experience in legal tech will not only support Peppermint’s ambitious growth plans, but will also deliver immediate strategic value to the law firms we work with.”
On joining Peppermint, Sycamore said, “I have been watching Peppermint for a number of years. I admire the vision and innovation shown by Arlene and her team in building a true enterprise platform for law firms, and also the market momentum they’ve gained – Legal is not an easy market for new tech companies, but they’ve established a strong foundation and solid customer base.
“My role now is to scale up that success; we’ll be expanding our go-to-market teams – sales & customer success – to enable us to work with more firms, and to rapidly expand our position in the market.”
Adams added, “These recent executive appointments, Mike Walker as CTO just two weeks ago and now Kaye Sycamore to head up Sales & Marketing, clearly show that the top industry leaders are gravitating to Peppermint.
“They share Peppermint’s passion and vision to challenge the status quo of old-school legal software, and to help firms build their future business based on modern, industry standard Microsoft technology.
“These appointments enable us to open up a world of possibility – and the multi-billion-pound investment in the Microsoft platform – to law firms who have the ambition to be more.”
