Landmark Information Group [1] was the proud winner of two awards in addition to a highly commended accolade at the industry-recognised 2017 Mortgage Finance Gazette Awards, which took place in London this week.
Landmark received a Highly Commended for the ‘Innovation – Non Lenders’ category for its RiskView Residential all-in-one conveyancing report. The judges were impressed with how the report provides environmental information on a range of risks and a digital mapped view of the results, and shows what actions or investigations buyers may need to take.
In addition, the team from Landmark’s Valuation Services division (formerly Quest), was announced as the Winner of the ‘Best Use of Technology – Suppliers’ category alongside Countrywide, for the use of Landmark’s Valuation Risk Model (VRM) tool, which adds a new layer of property risk management to the valuation process.
Landmark also won the ‘Community Services – Non Lenders’ category for the work the team has done in developing a new mobile app for the Virtual Doctors charity, to help improve local healthcare in Zambia’s rural communities. Seven Landmark volunteers donated 750 hours of development time, while fundraising efforts also included a 700-mile bike ride. Landmark also fund matched the donations made.
