Launch party for Sign on the Line

Last Friday night saw the launch of Sign on the Line [2], a new offering from Laird Assessors [3] providing legal document collection, witness statements and interpretation/translation services to the legal sector across the UK.

The company reserved a section of the bar area and invited some of their long standing clients to have some drinks and nibbles and to learn a bit more about the new venture.  Nik Ellis of Sign on the Line commented, “we wanted to introduce Sign on the Line in an informal atmosphere to those that have been customers of Laird Assessors for some time now – a small launch seemed the way to go”.

The management team at Sign on the Line will be taking what they have learnt through their operations with Laird Assessors to ensure it offers a quick and efficient business model to its customers.  There is an online booking system which keeps clients up to date throughout the whole process.  Signed documents will be scanned and uploaded into the system for review the same day as the appointment and appointments can be made immediately via the online calendar.

All of the agents that Sign on the Line utilise are trained collectors, with the majority being retired Police Officers with a wealth of experience in witness statement collection.  All of the collectors are fully trained in CFA/DBA sign-ups with a minimum of 2 years experience in their field.  The company also offer Interpreters & Legal Translators who are all registered with the NRPSI (National Register of Public Service Interpreters).

The difference with Sign on the Line is that they can tailor their services to suit the client needs.  They will be offering discounted packages for more than one service which will include Motor Vehicle Engineering Reports and also offer deferred payment terms similar to those available through Laird Assessors.

Nik commented on the launch, “The feedback we received from Friday is that our clients feel confident to use Sign on the Line as they trust in the service they already receive from Laird Assessors and are confident that they will receive the same level of service when dealing with Sign on the Line”.
