PSG [1] are once again planning a year of training events that will support solicitors and conveyancers in achieving their annual CPD requirements. Their impressive 2013 CPD programme saw over 70 separate seminars taking place around the country, providing over 700 hours of CPD and attended by a record numbers of delegates.
The CPD series kicked off on the 10th February with an event in the capital organised by PSG’s London central office, and with a growing event list 2014 looks set to build on the momentum of last year with fresh content and even more expert speakers than ever before.
The majority of the events will carry 3 CPD hours and this year’s subjects include environmental updates covering such topics as the controversial practice of fracking, compliance and regulatory issues, and Professional Indemnity Insurance, as well as a host of other topical issues.
New for this year is PSG’s Green Deal CPD “The Context and Consequences for Conveyancers”. PSG will be joined by, amongst others, professional law lecturer Andrew Crawford, environmental specialists Landmark, Groundsure and Argyll, former property developer and poacher turned game keeper Paul Addison of DevAssist and compliance experts Legal Eye [2].
Stephen Murray, Business Development Director at PSG says “Our CPD sessions have always been a way of providing that little bit extra and giving back to those firms that already work with us and introducing ourselves to those that don’t. The PSG network as a whole continues to go from strength to strength and this is reflected in the popularity of these events”.
