John Pickford announced as new Managing Director of SearchFlow

dmgi::land&property europe has confirmed that John Pickford has been appointed Managing Director of SearchFlow [1], the UK’s leading conveyancing search provider. Pickford, who is currently at Thames Water, will join SearchFlow in August. He takes up the newly created role of Managing Director of SearchFlow, which was previously part of the responsibility of Marshall King, CEO of Decision Insight Information Group (DIIG), who leaves next month.

Pickford currently heads up a number of businesses for Thames Water, the largest of which is Property Searches which provides a range of conveyancer due diligence reports, including the Drainage and Water Enquiry for the 14m customers in the Thames region. During his time at Thames he has led the successful implementation of the NLIS channel and the replacement of critical software and systems, improving the quality and speed of delivery for drainage and water searches. He also manages a number of affinity partnerships, delivering value added products and services.

John Pickford commented: “I am delighted to have been given this fantastic opportunity to lead SearchFlow into the next chapter of its development and I’m very excited about the possibilities that the future holds. With a hard fought and rightful reputation for delivering excellent customer service, SearchFlow is well positioned to exploit new technologies to deliver innovative services. I look forward to working with the entire SearchFlow team as we embark on this exciting journey.”

Mark Milner, CEO, dmgi::land&property europe said: “Such a high calibre appointment reflects the commitment that dmgi::land&property has to ensuring that SearchFlow enhances and develops its prominent position in the property market. John’s previous experience with Thames Water means that, importantly, he already has a very strong grasp of the nuances of the conveyancing search market and can ‘hit the ground running’ from August.”
