Irwin Mitchell’s specialist will disputes team adds four solicitors as growth continues

National law firm Irwin Mitchell [2]’s fast growing Will, Trust and Estate Disputes team has been bolstered with two new recruits in its Sheffield and Birmingham offices with two trainees also qualifying into the team this month.

The Irwin Mitchell team, which is the largest team outside London specialising in helping people and organisations with their problems relating to contesting a will or trust, was ranked number one in the recent independent Legal 500 guide and has also recently been recognized by the Yorkshire Legal Awards.

Doug Houghton, has joined Irwin Mitchell’s Birmingham office as an Associate Solicitor from Higgs & Sons and is a well-regarded dispute resolution expert specialising in a wide range of trust and probate disputes.  Doug is a full member of the Association of Contested Trusts and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS).  He will be working with Partner Gavin Faber who joined the team last year.

Solicitor Carla Rist also joins Irwin Mitchell in the Sheffield office from hlw Keeble Hawsons where she has built up a reputation in dealing with contentious probate matters. Carla is an Associate member of ACTAPS.

Trainee solicitors Liam Brooke and Ashleigh Carr have also qualified into the team this month in the Sheffield and Leeds office respectively.
