Hudgell Solicitors recommended as ‘leading firm’ in clinical negligence and personal injury in The Legal 500

The Legal 500 is compiled annually following an extensive research programme to identify the firms ‘providing the most cutting edge and innovative advice’.

It assesses firms of solicitors based not only on their size and resources, but also on the extent that clients recommend them, and on input from senior barristers, making it the most significant and trusted independent confirmation of a firm’s expertise and quality.

The 2015 edition has recommended Hudgell Solicitors as a leading firm in the Yorkshire and Humber region when representing clients in both clinical negligence and personal injury cases. The firm has its headquarters in Hull, with offices in Leeds and London.

It comes after researchers, described as having ‘unrivalled experience in the legal market’, assessed its work on many cases, in both areas of expertise, over the past 12 months.

“We are delighted to have been recognised for the quality of our work in the world’s leading legal guide,” said managing director Neil Hudgell.

“This reflects our position as a firm which is trusted by both our clients, and also by others in the legal profession whom we work alongside when representing our clients and seeking the best possible outcome for them.

“We have placed a huge focus on providing not only the highest standard of legal support and advice for people who suffer serious, often life-changing injuries, but also in ensuring they have access to the rehabilitation and support they need to help them on the road to recovery.

“It is for that reason that nine out of 10 of our clients saying they would be happy to recommended us, and why we now find ourselves included in The Legal 500 as one of the leading firms in our areas of practice.”

Recognition in The Legal 500 guide comes on the back a raft of awards nominations and accreditations over the past 12 months.

These included the firm’s clinical negligence team being highly commended at The Modern Claims Awards, whilst legal executive Jane Woodcock was shortlisted in the ‘Outstanding Case of the Year’ category of the Personal Injury Awards.

The firm is also a finalist in two categories for the 2015 Yorkshire Legal Awards, a prestigious event which will be held in October to recognise the very best legal talent across the region.

Hudgell Solicitors are shortlisted finalists in the Law Firm (1-10 partners) category, whilst Neil Hudgell has also been shortlisted for the Managing Partner of the Year award.
