Fitzalan Partners 200Fitzalan Partners is proud to announce that JP Goldman Solicitors have joined their conveyancing panel, and the firm is set to receive instructions from clients attracted through sites such as Homeward Legal and In-Deed.

Based in Urmston, JP Goldman is able to help home buyers and sellers locally around Manchester. Fitzalan Partners will help this growth in their conveyancing arm by bringing them qualified instructions from around the country.

What prompted this partnership?

The Urmston conveyancing solicitors can boast that they have “fewer clients per fee earner” and this dedication to client care is a strong reason for the partnership.

Not only does Fitzalan Partners attract property buyers and sellers, but they also help the client along the way, and JP Goldman echoes this way of working.

“JP Goldman are delighted to announce a partnership with Fitzalan Partners which we believe will be a fundamental part of the Firms long term expansion planning. JP Goldman and Fitzalan Partners share a desire to provide conveyancing customers with an efficient, professional and personalised service and this made the decision to work together an easy one.

Joint (ad)ventures in the legal sector

Nigel Wallis lo res

We all know that nothing in life is certain. As the actor, director and philosopher Clint Eastwood once said: “If you want a guarantee, buy a toaster.” He also said he’d tried being reasonable and didn’t like it. They should teach this kind of philosophy in law school. One thing in life is reasonably certain though. If you’re a law firm worth your salt, at some point you will be approached by another entity (most probably a work introducer) with a whizzy idea to ‘partner’ with you to ‘help you accelerate your growth’. In commercial speak this means, ‘we’d like to keep feeding you work but we’d also like to share in your profits’. The arrangement may be pitched to you as a joint venture – a win-win no less.
