F4L_logo_simple_CMYKIn modern life we can often find that we are so busy that we forget to take five minutes to stop, reflect and take stock of what’s going on. So I thought I’d write a blog on life at First4Lawyers at the moment.

It’s hard to believe that it is already May and that so much has happened this year already. Much of our time has been preparing for a very exciting product launch as we prepare a major expansion of our service beyond personal injury into wider legal advice and support.

We will be using the very successful methodology behind our existing personal injury and medical negligence marketing collective to drive high-quality, qualified leads to solicitors for employment, property, wills, finance, family and driving law.

In readiness for the launch we’ve had to create an entirely new series of adverts, build the back end system for the seamless transition of leads and prepare a 24/7 advice team to handle the enquiries.

The culmination of this hard work will come on Thursday 7 May  when we officially launch the new service at our inaugural customer conference in Leeds.

The conference is also an opportunity for us to share our wider vision for the future of First4Lawyers with our existing panel members and other members of the legal world. In addition to the launch we have a range of seminars on everything from compliance and ATE through to marketing, social media and effective budgeting.

There are also a couple of great key-note speakers including Professor Ian Cooper who will be looking at how lawyers can win more business.

There are still a few spaces available and if you wish to register or find out more then click here.

Elsewhere we’ve seen excellent growth in the number of firms joining the First4Lawyers panel which sends out a clear signal that life post-Jackson can be profitable but firms recognise the benefits of pooling resources.

The first four months of the year have also been truly award winning as well for First4Lawyers. Firstly we have been awarded Investors in People (IIP) accreditation at gold standard, the highest standard available, following our first application.

Secondly we walked away with Claims Management Firm of the Year and Claims Management Team of the Year in addition to a commendation for Marketing Campaign of the Year at the recent Modern Claims Awards.

We are extremely proud of the all these achievements. It’s gratifying to be recognised for developing our strategy alongside our own people but also with our panel members and business partners, who are all an important part of driving our business.

So having sat and pondered for the past I’m confident that our business is in a good place and we have a strong strategy and business plan for the future.

The security of certainty

What are our considerations when looking to buy home or car cover? I would imagine price would certainly be amongst the considerations, but I’m confident that we would each weigh up whether or not our chosen insurer could meet any claims we might bring, and perhaps as importantly, whether they’d provide us with a hassle-free claims process were the worst to happen. Legal expenses insurance should be no different.
