Conveyancing search specialist ETSOS [1] has become the first mainstream search supplier to remove all administration fees from Land Registry products.
Suppliers have traditionally added a small margin to products ordered from the Land Registry but ETSOS has now scrapped its 75p charge with immediate effect.
Comments Managing Director Phil Natusch, “Although it’s always been a modest uplift and less than our competitors, we have noticed that for some users it has been enough for them to prefer buying direct from the Land Registry. Our core proposition has always been about making the lives of conveyancers easier – by being able to get everything they need from a single platform – and yet here was a policy that was driving them outside of this platform and giving them more to do. That’s not what we want so users can now buy Land registry products on the ETSOS platform for exactly the same price as if they went direct.”
The suite of products available includes residential and commercial conveyancing searches, land registry searches, title insurance, EPCs, AML checks, JET and Lawyer Checker.
