Personal injury specialist Beacon Law is implementing Eclipse’s Proclaim practice management software system firm-wide.
Founded as Sprostons Solicitors in 2002, the practice recently rebranded as Beacon Law in line with an ethos that aims to clarify and illuminate the injury claims process for its clients. The firm has expanded to dominate a niche within a hugely competitive marketplace, providing a complete accident claim solution including professional negligence and animal attacks.
Beacon Law is implementing a full Proclaim practice management solution for personal injury caseloads of all types, migrating data from its incumbent accounts and case management systems. The firm is also implementing Eclipse’s ‘Task Server’ toolset to automate activities such as management information report creation and distribution. To streamline communications and enhance transparency, Beacon Law will also be utilising Eclipse’s FileView solution to provide live online case updates for clients and case referrers.
As part of the Proclaim rollout, Beacon Law is integrating the solution with its existing ‘JAWS Scripting’ tool, provided by Blazie Ltd. Two partners at Beacon Law are visually impaired, and the JAWS system provides a spoken narrative detailing what is happening within the onscreen environment.
