Advanced Legal welcomes Hewitt & Gilpin as 400th ALB customer

AdvancedLegal200 [1]Belfast-based law firm Hewitt & Gilpin has become the 400th firm to sign-up to Advanced Legal [2]’s practice and case management solution, ALB. The new technology will allow the firm to improve efficiency and enhance customer relations by replacing time-consuming manual processes.

Established in 1929, Hewitt & Gilpin has two offices in Belfast and specialises in providing legal services for business, employment, litigation, judicial review, private clients and charities.

ALB replaces an outdated legacy system and will enable the firm’s 26 staff to increase productivity by working from a single database. The solution will also allow Hewitt & Gilpin’s accounting function to become fully integrated with the practice management solution reducing back-office administrative costs and streamlining credit control activities.

In addition, by seamlessly interfacing ALB with Microsoft Exchange, the firm will focus on delivering an improved customer experience. Fee-earners benefit from having constant visibility of their diaries and tasks, even when out of the office, ensuring that they can accommodate their clients whenever and wherever required.

Graeme Hamilton, Director, Hewitt & Gilpin, says, “Our previous system was in need of an upgrade and we seized the opportunity to organise the firm around a single, integrated solution. ALB will centralise every element of our practice management processes and transform efficiency levels.

“We are particularly looking forward to reducing manual data activity and streamlining our many tasks to cut the administrative burden on staff and provide an even better service to clients.”

Doug Hargrove, Managing Director, Advanced Legal, says, “It is fantastic to be able to celebrate reaching our 400th ALB customer and to welcome Hewitt & Gilpin as the milestone client. The number of firms adopting this solution to effectively manage their practices continues to rise, as more and more realise the benefits of using a single, integrated application.”
