Advanced Legal announces launch of eSubmission platform for Laserform

has today announced that it will be launching an eSubmission platform for Laserform, the technology provider’s market leading electronic legal form application.

The platform will enable legal firms to submit digital data to government departments as they implement the Digital by Default Service Standard.

The standard is a commitment by the government to ensure that all new or redesigned transactional government services meet a digital standard from April 2014. The standard also states that these government departments must encourage the submission of information electronically and online.

Laserform customers will be able to continue using their existing forms knowing that as the Digital by Default Standard is rolled out, they will not be left behind and will have the additional option of using the eSubmission platform. Advanced Legal will initially be rolling this out for submission to Companies House and the Land Registry.

Doug Hargrove, managing director Advanced Legal, comments: “As the UK’s premier provider of electronic legal forms, we have taken the market lead by developing a pioneering single platform that provides integration between Laserform and a number of other legal systems. These include Advanced Legal products and case management systems developed by third-party developers.

“The platform will allow businesses to submit data quickly and efficiently to government portals whilst avoiding the data-entry inaccuracies that could typically lead to submissions being rejected.”

Scheduled for launch early next year, the platform will be the first industry-wide solution to address the Digital by Default Standard.

Advanced Legal’s Laserform solution provides access to the most comprehensive library of electronic UK legal forms, with features built-in to improve efficiency and data accuracy.

Advanced Legal forms part of Advanced Business Solutions, an Advanced Computer Software Group plc company.
