Glover: our annual fundraisers help us give back to the communities that have supported us along the way

PSG [2], the quality provider of conveyancing searches and reports for solicitors and conveyancing professionals throughout England and Wales, are delighted to announce their annual charity fundraising event on the 13th September, which will be in aid of the Royal British Legion.

100 Years

To mark the start of the UKs special 4 year centenary period, PSG branches from all across the country will be working together to walk a combined total of 100 miles to commemorate the First World War.

The Royal British Legion are the country’s ‘Custodian of Remembrance,’ leading the nation in respecting the sacrifices made by those who took part in one of the costliest conflicts in history.  They are also our largest Armed Forces charity and provide direct care and support to Armed Forces and veteran families in need. We aim to raise £10,000, all of which will go directly to help fund their invaluable work.

100 Miles

Regional PSG teams will be undertaking a 25 mile walking challenge on one of four different routes from the North to the South of England. We will be joined by partners and sponsors GroundSure, Landmark and CLS.

The Routes:

Giving back

Andrea Glover, Managing Director at PSG commented: “Corporate social responsibility is very important to PSG and our annual fundraisers help us give back to the communities that have supported us along the way. Over the years our offices throughout the country have organised their own fundraising initiatives locally and this year we wanted to work together to back a charity which, in this special centenary period, is at the forefront of the whole nations minds”.

A word from our sponsors

Sam Cherry, Director at CLS said “CLS are always keen to support our partners in their fundraising efforts and are happy to be sponsoring this event and raising money for the Royal British Legion, a great cause and any donations to help support the walkers taking part would be greatly received. The CLS team will be attending the 25 mile circular walk that takes place near Canterbury, Kent through one of the largest and most distinctive areas of ancient woodland in England. We look forward to joining PSG and the walkers for this marathon event and wish all the walkers taking part the best of luck”.

Greg Bryce, Commercial Director of Landmark Information Group, added, “at Landmark Information Group, we are committed to supporting fundraising initiatives from our partner clients and are delighted to be joining PSG, in aid of the Royal British Legion, for the 25 mile walk in the Midlands. We wish all the best to every one of the walkers at this great event.”

The GroundSure team also commented “GroundSure are delighted to sponsor PSG’s annual charity walk events with four staff members signed up to undertake the 25 mile planned treks. We have supported PSG with their walking challenges year on year and are proud to be a part of such a fantastic fundraising event. Two teams from GroundSure will undertake this year’s gruelling hike, the first team will join PSG for their South West leg starting from Tavistock and finishing in Plymouth, the other team will walk Hadrian’s Wall from Chollerford to Gilsland. We wish all participants the best of luck and hope that plenty of money is raised for the wonderful charity”.
